It’s like a Mexican standoff, and truth be told, it is no way to plan a village, let alone the country’s capital.
A defiant city transportation committee stuck to its guns Wednesday, voting unanimously for a western light rail route plan that the National Capital Commission rejected only weeks ago. Full council is expected to back the plan.
