Councillors to vote on LRT rail plan despite NCC’s objections

The controversial route for a western extension of the city’s light-rail line is going to a vote next week without the National Capital Commission’s co-operation, the chair of city council’s transportation committee says… The clock is ticking loudly: City council’s transportation committee is supposed to sign off on the rail plan at a special meeting July 10, and a full city council vote is to take place a week later.
